Coaches Corner

Hi Knights!

I have a senior and a sophomore who are Las Lomas Knights, and I am very excited to be joining the coaching staff at Las Lomas this year.

I started running just like many as a freshman on the Cross Country team in high school and only joined the team because my sister said it would get me in shape for basketball. What I didn’t know then, was that joining the Cross Country team would be one of the best choices of my early life. I developed a passion for running and turned my focus towards becoming the best runner I could be. In those years, I had the privilege to participate in this amazing team sport on the Moreau Catholic HS and Cal Cross Country teams. Although it has been many years since I have worn those uniforms and just as many years since I have run my fastest times, the great memories made with teammates, the friendships created, the life skills developed, and dedication to fitness gained through running endure.

Over the last 35 years, running has brought me so much joy, and I look forward to sharing that with you and helping you become the best runners you can be!

Hello Knights! I am happy you are interested in running cross country! I know that you will quickly grow to love this sport as much as your coaches do! I look forward to training with you all, and sharing all that this great sport has to offer. I am interested in all athletes who show up to practice and want to work hard, no matter their level of fitness. A successful athlete is a dedicated athlete in this sport. My overall goal as a coach is to assist you in reaching your performance goals, and show you how lessons we learn in sport can directly relate to the real world.
